Asphalt tarps are designed for dump truck beds hauling hot asphalt and hot mix asphalt. These Lee style dump truck tarps are made for demanding paving loads, with reinforced pockets for steel arm systems, 6 in heavy-duty hems, webbing reinforcement, double-lock stitching, and grommets spaced accordingly.

How to Select Asphalt Tarp Size

Use this quick guide to choose the right asphalt tarp size for your dump truck.

1) Choose tarp width (7 ft vs 7 ft 6 in)

• 7 ft width: Standard-width option for many dump truck tarp setups
• 7 ft 6 in width: Extra side coverage for wider setups or where added overlap is preferred
• For replacement tarps, match your current working width whenever possible

2) Choose tarp length (bed length + 2 ft)

A common rule is: Asphalt tarp length = dump bed length + 2 ft.

• 16 ft bed -> 18 ft tarp
• 18 ft bed -> 20 ft tarp
• 20 ft bed -> 22 ft tarp

3) Verify before ordering

• Measure your current tarp length and width
• Confirm compatibility with your arm/system setup
