How to install grommets
Grommets can be installed with hand grommet tools, grommet setting machine, or press and snap grommet tool.
- Use grommet hole punch tool to cut a hole in the material.
- Use grommet setting hand tool, bench grommet setting machine or HooVer Pres-N-Snap to set grommet.
Grommet Install Tips
- Use the correct size grommet hole cutter and grommet setting die.
- Use special high carbon stainless steel grommet setting dies for stainless steel grommets.
- Use correct tool! Plain grommets and rolled-rim / spur grommets have different setting dies.

A good heavy duty tarp that is similar to old canvas tarps from the 70s. Stitching appears to be good quality and the reinforced seams and eyelets are holding up well.
