Sigman 22 oz Vinyl Coated Polyester Fabric is a heavy-duty, waterproof tarp material sold by the yard for demanding upholstery, commercial, and outdoor applications. This PVC-coated polyester fabric offers strong tear and abrasion resistance with dependable weather performance, including resistance to UV exposure, oil, grease, and mildew. Suitable for high UV areas such as Florida, California, and Arizona.
Use this 61-inch-wide fabric for tarp covers, gym padding and upholstery, RV and marine upholstery, athletic and recreational covers, and other industrial or agricultural applications where long-term durability matters.

Vs 10 oz and 14 oz: 22 oz is much heavier-duty, with better tear and abrasion resistance for harsher outdoor and industrial use. 10 oz and 14 oz are easier to handle and better when lighter weight is the priority.
Vs 18 oz: 22 oz offers higher durability and longer wear in higher-stress applications, but it is heavier to work with. 18 oz is often the better balance when you want strong performance with easier handling.
Vs 40 oz: 22 oz is easier to fabricate, move, and install while still delivering heavy-duty performance. 40 oz is the max-duty option for extreme abrasion, impact, and long-term heavy-service environments where heavier weight is acceptable.

A good heavy duty tarp that is similar to old canvas tarps from the 70s. Stitching appears to be good quality and the reinforced seams and eyelets are holding up well.
