Printable Fence Mesh Banner Material

Printable fence mesh is a PVC-coated polyester mesh banner material made for large-format printing of fence wraps, construction fence screens, windscreens and outdoor mesh banners. Its open weave lets wind and light pass through, so printed graphics stay flat and secure on chain-link fencing, temporary fence panels, crowd barriers and scaffolding, with no wind slits needed. Choose from solvent-, UV- and latex-printable grades weaves, fire-retardant options and wide roll widths. Supplied unprinted, by the roll, for sign shops, windscreen printing and wide-format printers.

The same material goes by different names depending on where you are and how it is used: mesh banner material, fence wrap and fence screen in the US, fence scrim. Printed as one long continuous run it is a fence wrap; printed as single panels it is a mesh banner.

How to choose

Mesh or solid vinyl? Use mesh on open chain-link, temporary fence panels and any exposed or elevated position where wind can load the banner. Use solid banner vinyl on solid hoarding boards or sheltered positions where you need fully opaque, close-range graphics.

Opacity / Airflow? 80/20 prints densercolor and gives more screening, so it suits construction privacy screens and branding viewed up close. 60/40 lets more wind through and weighs less, so it suits very exposed sites, tall fences and long viewing distances. 70/30 is strikes a balance between print quanity and openness.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between fence mesh and mesh banner material?

There is none. Fence mesh, fence wrap, fence scrim and banner mesh all describe PVC-coated polyester mesh banner material used on fencing. The application differs; the roll is the same.

Does printed fence mesh need wind slits?

No, unless it is installed in a high wind area. The open weave mesh lets a large share of the wind through, between 20% to 40%, which is what makes mesh suitable for fences.

Can I print fence mesh on a solvent, UV or latex printer?

Yes. Each product lists its compatible ink systems.

How long does printed fence mesh last outdoors?

Typically 3–8 years. Durability depends on the ink system, UV exposure, wind load and how evenly the banner is tensioned, so space grommets closer together on exposed sites.

Is printable fence mesh fire retardant?

Fire-retardant grades are available and certified to NFPA 701. Non-FR grades are usually fine for short-term outdoor use; check your local requirements before ordering.

Do you sell printed fence mesh or only the material?

MyTarp supplies unprinted material by the yard or roll for sign shops and printers.
