A welding curtain is a transparent or opaque curtain hanging from a rod, roller track or frame to protect from welding UV and sparks during welding jobs. A welding curtain can be single or multi-panel or modular. Popular welding curtain materials are transparent tinted vinyl, opaque vinyl laminate and flame retardant canvas.

How to set up a welding curtain?

Here are some ways to set up a welding curtain.

Attach welding curtain to an existing welding screen frame with zip ties or tarp ball bungees
Hang curtain with rods. Attach curtain to rod with S-hooks or shower curtain rings
Attach welding curtain to a steel pipe frame
Hang the curtain from a roller track using roller hooks

Yes. The 5' x 25 yards welding curtains have grommets do have grommets. They are designed for hanging from roller tracks with roller hooks to make a factory floor partition.

Is welding curtain flame retardant?

Yes. The welding curtains are flame retardant. Please note that flame retardant are same as not fireproof. If exposed to high temperature, flames, sparks, arcs or slags, flame retardant materials will catch fire and burn. What is the difference between welding curtain and welding screen?

Welding curtain is a panel or continuous roll material. A welding curtain panel has grommet every 1 foot for easy hanging. A welding screen has a frame to stand on its own, similar to a room divider privacy screen.
