What is army duck canvas?
Army duck canvas is a high-density, tightly woven fabric made with two-ply yarns in both directions. Regular cotton canvas (often general-purpose or single-fill canvas) has a looser weave, single-ply yarns, and a rougher texture. Army duck is smoother, stronger, and naturally more water-resistant.

Army Duck Canvas: Uses multi-ply (two-ply) yarns for both warp and weft, packed closely together to create a smooth, stiff, and exceptionally uniform face.
Regular Canvas: Often uses single yarns or a looser weave structure, resulting in a more visible texture and less structural rigidity.

A good heavy duty tarp that is similar to old canvas tarps from the 70s. Stitching appears to be good quality and the reinforced seams and eyelets are holding up well.
