The tarp is also resistant to oil, acid, grease, and mildew for broader industrial and outdoor use.
Key specs include heavy-duty solid brass grommets spaced approximately every 2 ft on all four sides for secure tie-down, fabric weight of 18 oz/sq yd, and approximate thickness of 20 mil. Country of origin is Made in USA.
Important sizing note: this is cut size; finished size may be slightly smaller due to seaming and hemming during fabrication.

- Users needing a durability step-up from 10 oz/14 oz
- Lightweight, temporary-use jobs where a lower-cost tarp is sufficient

- Use cases requiring visibility through the cover (clear tarp is better)
- Vs Poly Tarp: Heavier-duty, longer-lasting, and better for harsh UV and demanding wear.

I've been buying tarps from mytarp.com for at least 10 years and I still have all of them. Some have been in the sun from day one with UV rays trying their best to weaken them to no avail. I did have some get chaffed from abuse, but their repair patches are the cat's meow.
I ordered several tarps and just replaced the old cheaper hardware store bought poly-tarp with the USA made vinyl coated poly-tarp. Quality appears good but only time in lasting will tell how good it really is. The shipping was fast and I liked the brass grommets and the 18oz material thickness. The light allowed through the gray tarp was not expected and a plus in my application.
Perfect to protect my kayaks and trailer from the elements
Received my tarp and it is very heavy duty and looks like it will last for years.
Shipped and arrived quickly. Good quality and already installed!
I’ve ordered twice. Nice well made tarps
Everything as it should be
verygood product ,great price!
Fantastic Quality. It will be a test of time to see how long this can last under the California sun, but for now, looks and feels like great worksmanship
The "tarp" (if it can be called a tarp) is far more heavy duty than any tarp I've ever owned. All other tarped ripped out at the grommets, or the fabric split for unknown reasons. This hasn't happened yety with this tarp, and I don't expect it to.
this "tarp" is so nice that it doesn't seem quite right to call it a "tarp". Others would interpret that word as being like other tarps they've seen or used. Until it's been in use for a few years, I won't know for sure, but it appears the very heavy duty material, and double layer at the grommets will keep both the tarp and grommets from ripping out in high winds.
Great tarp
Nice heavy tarp. Expecting it to last a few years
Seems very durable. The yellow lets plenty of light through.
Perfect cover for our pergola and the yellow color is vibrant.
I use the tarp to cover the front of my 8 x 16’ firewood shed. This one was hard to find in Camo. This tarp fits perfectly. We’ll see how it does in northern Wisconsin winters
I had a custom size made. The promised date was a very aggressive date, and they still beat it! Great price as well. Customer service was excellent.
They cut the vinyl 8x10 and then fold all the sides and sewed it and put in the rivets so it's 4 in shorter both ways 7'8" X 9'8" so you don't get what you pay for
Tamara helped us out with this order. She's informative and was quick to set us straight when we ordered the wrong product.
Great thanks always
The color options are outstanding. The delivery was fast. The quality is excellent.
Great tarp and fantastic customer service
Very strong and well made
Finding a tarp that will last in the Phoenix AZ Sun seemed impossible for years.
So thankful I found these tarps. I purchased 1 at first to see how it would fair before purchasing more and I will say this. Going on year 2 or 3 now and the first vinyl coated polyester tarp I purchased has been in direct sunlight for the full time and it still appears to be in like new condition. It's not fading, it's not cracking, it's not torn, it's not damaged by the sun 1 bit. The price is a bit much but well well worth it. You get what you pay for and I'm very happy.
Excellent long lasting tarp!, plus it looks good!
We bought this exact same tarp in August 2013, 9 years ago. It is used to cover a metal framed wood storage building. We live at 5,200 foot elevation, so hot summers and snow, ice, high winds and very cold winters. This tarp is just now needing replacement. Highly recommend for it’s superior quality. Unfortunate that the price has increased, but most everything in 9 years has increased in price. We are replacing the 9 years old tarp with the same one. It's worth it!
Purchased May 2013 and now in2021 it is going strong! We have used it as a cover for a deck canopy. It is in the full sun all summer and still looks new and is still flexible. We would order another when this finally dies.
Super satisfied with my tarp. I built a gypsy wagon camper and with good care, the first one last 10 years. My new tarp is on and I’m ready to go camping!
Great product and great customer service.
My go to company for quality, super long lasting tarps. I've been buying tarps from mytarp.com for at least 10 years and I still have all of them.
They came quickly. They went up easily. They are still holding. Thank you, my tarp.
Very nice heavy duty material. The shipping is very fast. I receive my orders within 5 days. Excellent material and excellent company.
Dinghy chaps. Hello I would to share what I made with your product a set of dinghy chaps.
A good heavy duty tarp that is similar to old canvas tarps from the 70s. Stitching appears to be good quality and the reinforced seams and eyelets are holding up well.
I've been buying vinyl from MyTarp for several years. I use it to make Ice Boots for horses, it's incredibly strong and holds up to incredible stress The customer service is amazing.
Ordering a new tarp to match one I purchased from MyTarp.com in 2014. The tarp has been a workhorse... total sun and weather exposure the entire 12 years
Thankful. Great customer service. Exactly what I needed.
Thank you so much for the quality tarp and connectors. Thought you may want to see how my custom tarp project turned out.
I've used these grommets for years. They are very good quality and reasonably priced. It's always such a pleasure to deal with the staff. They are very friendly and helpful.
Good quality fabric. It looks very durable. I used it with the HH-66 vinyl cement to make patio furniture covers. The cement is bonding the fabric really well.
Vinyl Coated Mesh Fabric. Always ships fast, my ETSY customers love the beach bags, boat bags, drag bags and doll accessories they receive.
Vinyl mesh. Excellent service and product.
