Product Overview

Stayput Toggle Tarp Fastener works with a #1 spur or #2 plain grommets. Come in both horizontal and vertical versions. Easy to open and close. Requires no pressure to open or close the fastener. The specially designed toggle will hold the tarp or curtain in place. The Stayput toggle tarp fasteners are available in two styles and lengths to accommodate various applications and fabric thicknesses. Stayput products are manufactured from UV stabilized glass-filled nylon. MyTarp.com is an authorized retailer of Stayput products.

WARNINGS
- Unlike twist lock fasteners, Stayput toggle fasteners do NOT turn 90 degree and lock.
- Work with Size # 2 grommets (3/8" grommet hole diameter) ONLY. Please verify your grommet size before purchase.
- Grommet size larger than # 2 (3/8" grommet hole diameter) needs a flat washer to hold in place.

Helpful Tip
- The wider end of the toggle should point downwards
- Use single-stud if your curtain or tarp is not very thick
- Use double-stud if your curtain is of very thick material
- Add a 5/16" flat washer (not included) to hold the tarp tighter or when tarp grommet is larger than size #2. See picture of toggle tarp fastener with flat washer for more information.
- Use Double-Stud if you plan to add a washer, as Single-Stud may not have enough space to accommodate a washer.

The fasteners appear to be good quality and should work well for my project

The fasteners appear to be good quality and should work well for my project. I returned the double stud fasteners and am ordering the single stud instead. There were no problems returning the product.

We Like Them!

These fasteners work great and are easy to install. We attached them around unrepairable broken out windows on the outside of our small wooden livestock shed using #8 x 9/16” zinc Lath screws. We hung our Sigman Clear Vinyl 30 mil tarp to cover the windows using these fasteners. We will keep them up year ‘round and it should make a fast and easy job of hanging the tarps from year to year in preparation for winter. The double stud is necessary for the type of tarp and grommet size we purchased. The fasteners are small, strong and efficient and so far have kept our tarp in place even in the strongest of winds. We like them. Highly Recommend!
