Chlorosulphonated Polyethylene (CSM) coated nylon fabric, 35 oz and 60 in wide, sold by the yard. Formerly known as Hypalon fabric, this CSM material is designed for projects that require high durability under abrasion, chemical exposure, and elevated temperatures. The CSM coated, non-sticky surface helps resist dust build-up and supports long-term performance in fabrication environments where standard utility fabrics are not enough.
This fabric is commonly used in protective covers, industrial liners, gaskets, flexible components, and custom fabricated parts where dependable chemical and thermal resistance properties are required.

Applications
Applications
- Industrial and automotive projects requiring durable coated nylon fabric
- Liners, gaskets, protective covers, and custom fabricated parts
- Applications needing strong abrasion and chemical resistance
- Fabrication environments with continuous temperature exposure up to 250 F
- Projects requiring lightweight decorative fabric over technical performance
- Applications needing stretch fabric or a soft drape
- Use cases requiring food-contact certification unless separately validated
- Buyers needing return flexibility for cut yardage (non-returnable item)
- Projects where a lower cost, lower durability fabric is sufficient
- Vs vinyl coated polyester: CSM coated nylon (this product) is better for high-abrasion and chemical-exposure environments, with strong durability and 250 F continuous temperature resistance. Standard vinyl-coated polyester is more economical, but offers lower chemical and temperature performance.
- Simple rule: Choose CSM coated nylon when performance and durability are the priority; choose standard coated fabrics when budget and general-purpose coverage are the priority.
- Vs 16 oz CSM: 16 oz is lighter, cheaper and has more color options.
