The Sigman 12' x 20' white tarp is a heavy-duty 10-mil poly tarp built for 12x20 carport and canopy replacement covers, boats and RVs, and patio cover. Sigman builds it from woven, reinforced polyethylene and coats both sides against UV, so it is tougher and more dimensionally honest than the typical bargain white tarp.
The white finish is the difference-maker. Unlike heat-reflective silver or light-blocking silver/black, white lets daylight through and keeps the space over carports, canopies, patios, and decks noticeably brighter. On top of that the coated, woven polyethylene is waterproof, so 12x20 carport and canopy replacement covers stay dry while the dual-sided UV coating fights fading. Because 12x20 is a common carport and canopy footprint, it drops right in as a replacement cover over an existing frame.
The 12' x 20' hangs and ties off easily thanks to evenly spaced grommets and plastic-bar corners, so it stays put over 12x20 carport and canopy replacement covers. A good heavy duty tarp that is similar to old canvas tarps from the 70s. Stitching appears to be good quality and the reinforced seams and eyelets are holding up well.
